The Big Idea
I have always wanted to be “editor of the world.” I don’t mean that I hoped to correct every misspelled menu item or poorly worded sign. (Even though that would be a truly noble cause, there simply aren’t enough red pens for the task.) Instead, I’ve long fantasized about being a sought-after guru of general improvement.
In my dream job, companies and individuals would send me anything (from remote controls to specialty bras to pancake recipes to intangibles) and I’d “edit” by providing whatever insights I could on how the products or concepts in question could be improved upon.
All of this lead to the creation of Editor At Large. (See the next page for more.)
